RecommendedThe “check engine” light came on while driving, so we stopped by Advance Auto Parts, Rockwall to have the diagnostic computer checked for the specific code. The employee there helped us immediately was an oil sensor problem. Checked the oil & found it was about one quart low, so bought a quart of 5W-20 high mileage synthetic oil at the employee’s suggestion. Offering free alternator testing, but “don’t have the people to do it”
Thank you to the guys at Advanced Auto Part in Rockwall for saving the day when I had a total blonde moment and lost my oil cap. Instead of tell me to go somewhere else, like another auto part store did (that’s how I ended up at AAP), they actually tried to figure out how to help me and ended up finding my cap in the bottom of the truck! Little things like that go a long way in customer appreciation. Thanks, guys!
