The store wouldn't clear the service engine soon light using their scan tool (or let me do it myself)... Part of fixing a car or truck is trial and error. They happily scanned the code and sold me parts to go along with code but now I'm stuck with half the job done. The guy behind the counter told me it's against policy. What a stupid policy... guess I won't be buying MORE stuff because now I'm not 100% sure if I've solved the problem or not.....
The GM, I forgot his name but he was wonderful. I got into a car accident with my significant other shortly after we purchased a gas pedal. He gave us a refund on the spot and seemed very genuine. The world does need more people like this. We met him yesterday the 7th around 11am. Due to his kindness, understanding and help, we WILL return soon. Conner (? I think, meant to post this 2 weeks ago and forgot) the manager went above and beyond on the customer service. Awesome guy.
I found myself with a dead battery today. My husband rescued me, but we still had to deal with replacing the battery. We found ourself at Advanced Auto Parts in Plfd and what a great choice! Conner, the general manager, could not have been nicer. He quickly took care of us and even installed the new battery for us! We have found our new favorite auto part store!
