Big shout-out to Andrew who saw me messing with my engine and came out to help. He shared a lot of knowledge with me, gave me some pointers, and did more for me than I ever would have expected.

If you can't honor your price at the register that is plainly posted on a non-clearance item .....why not just leave it blank and make up a price. What makes it worse is when you lie to the customer on top of not honoring your displayed price. What you should have done is apologize,honor the price and when they leave do your job!!!
