I really want to give a big shoutout to my dietitian, Karen. When I was first referred to the diabetes clinic for gestational diabetes, I felt really panicky and overwhelmed. Karen was incredibly patient and took the time to walk me through the entire process—from what gestational diabetes is, to how to manage my diet, what to watch out for, how to do finger pricks, and how to use both the glucose meter and the continuous monitor. Eva Kogan is the worst doctor I have EVER met in my life! I would highly suggest everyone to report her! She made my entire pregnancy traumatizing. Even after birth I always walked in and out of her clinic with anxiety and saddness as how she spoke to me. Which doctor wastes time asking same questions like whats my address, my date of birth, when was my baby born, what medications am I taking... like lady! Kogan is a joke. She needs to leave. The rest of the staff are pleasant and actually useful. She adds 0 value to the meetings, and does that with a ton of unnecessary attitude. An app replaces her usefulness and provides far more useful insights that she does. The RDs also provide much more value than she does.
I have had bad experiences in the past. This is my third time coming to this place. Now, I am being seen by Karen and Jess With the help of Dr. Fatima Punjani, I believe. It has been nothing but wonderful for me. They are so compassionate, they care so much, and they really help getting my diabetes in control.
