Good name, terrible customer service in Chattanooga. Poorly trained phone staff give conflicting advice and the installation staff is unreliable. In fact , ADT has a working relationship with the police but don’t even keep up with the police security changes that DIRECTLY affect ADT customers. ADT is a big expensive failure and more of a liability to homeowners now, leaving them ASAP.

I am paying monthly for equipment that has not worked for over a year. I called to get it repaired and they told me someone would call to walk me thru it but no one ever called. The system beeps that a camera battery is low. I am 68 years old. How am I supposed to climb up to the camera to change the battery. If there is a power failure your system shuts down and does not reset and the cameras only work part time. Don't waist you money on ADT.

My system hasn’t worked in the last 3 years. We kept it because the camera worked. Now, the camera doesn’t work and we tried to cancel. They said we signed a contract through 2026. I asked to see this contract and it couldn’t be produced with my signature. There’s a reason you see tons of 1 stars. Please do not use them. They are terrible.

An ADT salesman showed up at my house yesterday to walk past my no soliciting sign and talk to me while out in the yard. He said “some one should have told you I was coming by when you bought your house”. I replied now worried “who was supposed to tell me that and what do you need from us?” He just repeated “they should have told you I was coming to speak with you…” This was just the start of a bad sales pitch at trying to sell us the security system.
