The equipment they installed rarely to never worked. After the install- be aware- they’re going to charge you every single time they come out to fix their faulty equipment. When I cancelled the service, getting them to stop charging me was a hassle. Nothing but issues and terrible customer service. Steer clear.
I have been manipulated, lied to and told incorrect information from ADT several times in the last 3 weeks. They owed me a refund for an incorrect charge. Was told that the funds were going to be reissued to my account within 3-5 business days, then when that didn't happen. I had to call them, argue with customer service that they'd charged me additional service fees AND never returned my refund. Which they confirmed was not returned, due to a mistake on their end. My system has been down for 2 weeks. ADT customer service is the worst I have encountered. They sent me a battery for the control panel and are now arguing that they sent sensor batteries. No way to speak to local assistance. Phone support can't speak converational English mush less on a technical level. Stay away from ADT and use a local company that is interested in customer sevice.

Good name, terrible customer service in Chattanooga. Poorly trained phone staff give conflicting advice and the installation staff is unreliable. In fact , ADT has a working relationship with the police but don’t even keep up with the police security changes that DIRECTLY affect ADT customers. ADT is a big expensive failure and more of a liability to homeowners now, leaving them ASAP.
