Warning to everyone! ADT is one of the most dishonest and predatory companies I’ve ever dealt with. They trap customers with long-term contracts full of hidden fees, their equipment constantly breaks, and every time you need help, they charge ridiculous amounts just to send a technician. My name is Hung Anh Nguyen. ADT continues to charge $164/month for camera and alarm, which is higher than the price verbally quoted by a few dozen dollars. The alarm has not worked from May until now, yet charges continue to be deducted from my account. I have repeatedly called and texted with no response. This is unacceptable. I request immediate cancellation of the service, a refund for the months the service did not work, and written confirmation. If the issue is not resolved, I will file complaints with BBB and FTC
My front and back camera has been out since Dec 24. my son calls and they tell him they are doing software updates. no one has bothered to come out to fix but the money is still coming out of my account. Alder who had before, I tried calling for a year and half and finally stopped payment and then I got a call, then ADT took it over so guess I will have to do the same to get my system working. all it does is tell me what door is open. smoke detector kept going off all the time even with new batteries so had to take batteries... read more
ADT is wrongfully accusing me of owing them money even though I cancelled their service both with a live agent and via email before the renewal date. I just spent 45 minutes speaking with adt billing and they refused to contact their debt collector so now I will let anyone considering using adt not to do so. They continue to raise their prices for “better service” but then there is customer no-service anyway. Warning don’t use adt!
Their service has gone down hill. What was a top notch company is no longer.I have no faith in them now. Told me 4 time they would set me an email to reset my password. Never got an email, yet it was ADT who elimated my password.
