They lie and lock you in a contract that after saying there is no contract. Then they tell you all you need to do to is pay the equipment off and you will be free of any other charges. Then start charging your for monitoring even though the equipment is not even set up on the home or attached still in the original boxes. So what are you monitoring exactly? ADT is nothing more than scam artists & there salesman are as well. The salesman never told me I would be in a 3 year contract. Then they lied about their promotion at the time. I was supposed to get $100 Visa gift card and never got it. Now with my system being hardwired, The battery needs to be replaced Instead of them, putting something in where I can replace the batteries, they purposefully hardwired it you $200 to replace it. They are horrible. Don’t get ADT.
Very poor customer service and deceptive contract terms when it comes to cancellation. We switched to a smaller local company when our business moved locations and have had a much better experience since. I strongly recommend against ADT Security Services for both personal and business security systems and cameras.
Terrible experience so far with Jill Weaver. Calling for 3 weeks to get my system properly installed and I can't get a call back from her. UPDATE: Jill Weaver is the most deceptive lowlife sales "person" I have ever encountered. She LIED and said that we were getting smoke, fire and Carbon Dioxide detectors only to find out a year later after a carbon dioxide warning from another device that in fact she did not place an order for the 3 in 1 detectors and we never had carbon dioxide monitoring from ADT like we thought and wer... read more
