I spoke with Sam at ADT on 11.14.23 and explained I was selling my home and will be discontinuing the monitoring service soon. I then called on 12.12.23 to stop the monitoring as I told Sam I would. Now, I get a bill for an additional month of monitoring since they say I needed to call the main 800 number 30 days in advance! Terrible service no one can absolute speak English can't understand what their freaking saying.
I just got ADT a week ago. Absolutely terrible customer service and it’s impossible to cancel service. They tell you that you have 30 days to cancel but it’s really only 3 days according to the rep I spoke with. I’m out $350 on top of a $200 hvac visit for a nest thermostat that was never hooked up properly and not even compatible with my hvac unit. Do not under any circumstances trust this company. You guy here cut off my wife, flicked her off, rolled his window down and threatened her, then followed her for 2 miles on highway. She was shaking for hours.
