My husband and I chose this property because of its storied history and access to restaurants and amenities within a one block radius. It is a gorgeous hotel, stately, old world with all the modern needs clearly incorporated. Upon check-in we were greeted by Raheema, who was professional, personable and incredibly caring. Remember the scene in Titanic when Jack is waiting for Rose on the staircase? That's what walking into this hotel's lobby is like. 12/10 would recommend. Immaculate service no matter where you are, and the rooms are spacious. The tour is wonderful if you're into the architectural history, but other stories about the hotel's more permanent residents are not generally addressed.
I watched a girl fall on her skateboard and ask the staff for help upon arrival and the staff made absolutely no attempt whatsoever. I canceled my reservation immediately. is this how we treat women in Dallas? I will never return.
I arrived at approximately 5:30 p.m. for a business engagement. As a frequent patron who has cultivated cordial relationships with your staff over the years, I mentioned that I might require an additional night. The front desk advised me to book the extra night via my mobile application using my loyalty points and to return at 11:00 a.m. the next day to check out and back in, assuring me I could remain in the same room.
