Just took my Marti to my vet in Blairsville. He is amazed at the shape my boy is in for 13 years old with a grade 6 heart murmur. Marti is like a six month old puppy. At the age of 7 he was rescued from a puppy mill and spent his first six months of freedom living with Dr. Hickey. She vetted him, which included removal of all of his teeth. I am firmly convinced that Marti would not be here today if not for the care he received many years ago. When I adopted him I lived in Florida.
