Something to be said for working with a family owned business, where second & third generation are currently part of the crews and in the office. They take pride in their work and after a recent new installation I appreciate why they were highly recommended by a neighbor. The quote was detailed and their work exceeded my expectations.

When another company told me I needed to replace my entire hvac system for $17k, I had Adkins come out for a second opinion. They thoroughly inspected my hvac system, noted it was in great condition, and quoted less than half the other company's price should I choose to replace. I've been with Adkins ever since and have them come out for routine service twice a year. Appointments are easy to schedule, and the technicians are always kind, professional, and patient to explain any necessary repairs.

My elderly mother lives by herself and had called another company to come check her heating unit. They lied and scared her telling her she needs to REPLACE the WHOLE UNIT! They quoted her 5 figures and was trying to pressure her into spending her savings. I said NO! I did not like how they were trying to pressure us into buying a new unit.
