I recently had a skin biopsy right next to my nostril that showed basal cell carcinoma-I was referred to Dr Sharma for MOHS surgery. Because of the very delicate facial location I was overwhelmed by how this could be treated without disfiguring my face…especially .with my son’s wedding coming up! Between myself and my family, I've seen my share of specialists in the past. I have not, until now required a mohs surgery but my experience with Dr Sharma and her team was top to bottom, the best medical experience I've ever had. From the initial call to schedule my surgery the staff was warm, friendly, and considerate of my anxiety (first time mohs, on my face). They made me feel calm, comforted, and literally held my hand. Dr. Sharma has, for 2 or 3 times, called to reschedule my appointment after waiting months for it. At her request, I rescheduled today's appointment. I was 3 mins late, due to no parking, and she refused to see me! There was almost no one in the large waiting room. The assistant at the front desk, Ingrid, was a rigid thick bureaucrat.
