BEWARE All customers - I would give negative "stars" if possible. I am a new customer of Adirondack Appliance and had planned on being a lifelong customer because I want to see mom and pop stores make it and there claim is service - NOT TRUE IN my experience! I bought a $1900.31 refrigerator which was delivered damaged (big) -as if it fell down a hill- doors bent, sides scratched, dinged. one hour later Eric told me he was going to call the manufacturer and see what they would do to replace the doors! I called to have the washer serviced and was told it is a total rebuild (in 5 minutes). I was told to call the company to authorize AA to fix (I did) now they don’t call back. Now that I read the reviews I think I see a pattern. I am sad that I want to use a local company and support a local family but they don’t care as much about their customers. So frustrating! I have given them over a month. With a heavy heart I have to say, I do not recommend them.

I needed a refrigerator repair and Adirondack Appliance was listed as an authorized repair facility. They came to our house and would not do the repair because it was a "recall". They still charged us over a $100 for a service call. When I contacted the manufacturer they informed us it was not a recall and recommended another servicer who promptly came and fixed the problem. When I tried to address this with Adirondack they said they would look into it but after that would not return calls or emails. It is simply not accepta... read more

I do handyman work and all the repairs on my own household appliances and have used Adirondack in the past if I needed a part quick but will never again. Call of looking for a part for my dryer they called back left a message saying, they found it from the distributor for $27 and could have it a day later.” I called back unfortunately didn’t confirm price and told them to order it as my order was being held in the computer for I thought $27. Stopped in for a simple part to get my dryer working again; simple thermal fuse used in millions of dryers. 3$ on amazon. AA price was exactly $20 with tax. Absurd makup on simple part. I would never puchase an appliance from them. Cheaters...
