Sessions are pricey and they do not accept insurance. 2 "evaluation" sessions are required before they will consider testing you for adhd (which is another 3 sessions). In my evaluations, I was asked the exact same questions and the person conducting them honestly seemed absent from the conversation. And finally, when I am approved to take the diagnostic test, the office ghosted me. I was told leaving my final evaluation not to contact them to schedule, and that they would contact me in 2 weeks. The psychologist cannot prescribe medication. He uses “talk therapy” I suppose if you don’t have ADHD that’s fine but the condition isn’t behavioral. It’s a malfunction of the brain synapses and requires medication.
I recently moved to Las Vegas and am having a hard time finding a new doctor to continue treating my ADHD. I've used the same doctor in another state for years, so this is actually the first time I've had to find a new ADHD doc. This facility keeps coming up again and again while researching potential treatment facilities, and yet they never answer their phone, they don't return messages, and they don't respond to emails.
