Came in about 5:15 on Mothers Day. We waited for about 2 hours to get our food. We were sat quickly outside, and drink orders taken. Then the wait was on. The server was friendly and was very apologetic for the long wait. Nothing was done, but apologies. I figured comp the meal, free drinks, coupons for a return visit. Something......nope, nothing. I visited the Adelphia last year and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I decided to bring my mother and daughter here after our visit to the Clay Center. I was a bit disappointed this time around. The service was fine but the food wasn't as good as I remembered it. The beef soulvaki was average but the bed of rice was slimey, and honestly scarce. The Greek salad was drowned in an overwhelming dressing that made the feta cheese taste twangy. The kids meal was a bit pricey for the Grilled Cheese which was basically half ... read more
It's the best in Charleston. No doubt. Been coming here since the beginning. You cannot order something that''s not amazing on the menu.
