First time in Charleston, loved the food ,atmosphere and staff. If I lived in WV Adelphia would be my bar!
Great place to watch a game. Management was more than accommodating. Wings were great.
The service was slow and pitiful I waited 20 minutes for the Homerecker with waffle fries my hotdog was burnt black the charred tast ruined my whole experience even though the manager was nice I will never ever return...

Dear Dina, our Homewrecker Is a huge kosher 1/2 lb. cooked-to-order wiener. No Preservatives or nitrates, we cook it on the chargrilled and by design, that can tend to char the exterior. However, by request, we can cook it on the flat top and it will not have any Char-marks. It does take 10 full minutes to cook, a few minutes to dress, and a few more minutes to arrive fresh and hot to your table. Routinely, 18-20 minutes is normal. We apologize and hope you will return to have one prepared to your liking.
The management in this place is terrible. They treat their employees like they are nothing. That can only be a reflection of the owners to allow it to continue. It is only a matter of time until the things that go on under that roof catches up to them.

I visited Adelphia for the first time fairly recently to celebrate New Year's Eve with a friend. When I entered, it didn't take very long for the hostess to seat me nor for the server to arrive at the table after being seated. The food was decent and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed that, since it was New Year's Eve, staff gave shotglasses and a champagne toast to customers as it neared midnight.
