I heard about Adelita's on the radio yesterday. I decided to look online and saw where they have been making tamales since 1938. Anybody making tamales that long has got to be good. So i ventured to San Antonio. They were very busy but they filled my order quickly for hot tamales. Got Christmas chips and Bunuelos and some tortillas. Everything was delicious. I know where to come now. Worth the drive from 75 + miles away.
I love the tortillas here the friendliness and the fact that you could even make friends while you're in line waiting on your order
I bought 50 pounds of prepared masa and it was wonderful. My family and I had a great time making tamales. They turned out great! Thank you for the wonderful service at the store and for takin my masa out to the car for me. I am unable to lift heavy objects.
The all meat barbacoa was delicious....my brother told me about this place.
Best masa in town ... and they have Barbacoa during the week days another goodies
