Matt and his team were absolutely stellar. My mom and dad needed someone who would make the effort to connect with them, and Debbie did that effortlessly. It was heartwarming to see dad engage with her, and all of the interesting stories they shared with each other. My sister Janene and I highly recommend Addus to provide TLC for your loved ones. Poor customer service. Phone calls are not returned. Veterans seem to take priority in this office with Medicaid people being less than desirable to them. Several times I went without a caregiver without so much as a phone call. They show up for home visits unannounced for a “signature”. The caregivers seem to genuinely care about the clients however, the office staff have terrible customer service.
I have worked for this company for over 10 years. They are a family oriented company. I'm a single parent if one of my kids were sick, I can stay home with them. And you don't feel guilty. The office staff is amazingly supportive of me and my family. I was with a client that was being disrespectful towards me. I informed the office staff and they told me to not go back to that client. I hope that I can work for them untell I retire.
When home care was suggested to us by our doctors we were skeptical because of all the horror stories you hear of how patients are treated! Well let me set the records straight… from the moment we met Matt & Jodi, we were treated like family! We were treated like people not patients. Treated with understanding and concern! I'm so late writing this review I can't thank Addis and the people that were there for me and my mother during her time if illness, they really pulled through to do everything they could to help me to make sure my mother was cared for in her home in her last weeks and I to days. I miss her very much it was a difficult time for. I have to say Matt Ruth and the others that are part of the Addis team there in Lewiston are a true blessing, they truly care about peoplle.
