It is extremely refreshing and convenient to contact a computer store technician that answers the phone and patiently helps you deal with computer issues you my be encountering. I have been doing business with Ross for a long time and he has never let me down. I highly recommend Adaptive Computers for retail, repair services and IT help.
Brought in a older gaming laptop that i was at my wits end with. Unable to fix it, brought it to Ross and he had the patience and knowledge to get it humming again. Pretty sure he put a lot time into it and only charged less than 200. He's a superhero in my book!
I’ve spent 10 years working in tech, so I know the actual value of hardware. After driving 40 miles in a pinch, I was charged $10 for a single M.2 screw—a tiny piece of metal worth a fraction of a cent. I am new to Oregon and was visiting Hood River for the first time a few weeks ago with my wife. While she was getting a much needed massage, I decided to wander around this wonderful town. Being a PC gamer almost my entire life, Adaptive Computers caught my eye. I went inside and was greeted warmly by Ross, the owner. Had old Mac computer issues recently. Ross gave me great advice which, in fact, didn't benefit him economically. He later helped with software and some hardware issues. Definitely the place to go to in the area. I'll be back with any other questions or problems.
