Do not hire him. Do not call him. Do not communicate with him. Stay away from him. I agree with other reviewers. I want to preface this with the fact that we actually won our probate case, however I wouldn't suggest Carl to my worst enemy. He requests everyone call him "Lawyer Adams", and it felt like he went out of his way to rack up his hours rather than trying to take care of our case with any kind of efficiency. Per Adair M Buckner law website the average cost for probate with a will, which we had, is about $2,500. Carl charged us closer to $20,000 to complete it. First take with Mr. Adams: A very down to earth, casual, friendly, engaging and a very knowledgeable attorney. However, he will abruptly disappear on you for unknown reasons without no explanation(s). Will not extend the common courtesy of acknowledging and returning your telephone calls. Very disappointing, unprofessional and inconsiderate for an experienced senior aged and solo practice attorney.
