Active personal care and hospice care is nothing short of amazing. We had a very difficult situation involving a family member with terminal diagnosis. After a long stay in the hospital, Our family member wanted nothing more than to be back home with family. Once this decision was made we had no idea where to turn or how to proceed. I brought my husband home with assistance of Active Home Health after a 7 day stay at the Hospital. The aide assigned to him was Marina Salas. She is such a warm and caring woman. My husband has dementia and he normally doesn’t do well with people he doesn’t know but with Marina he felt comfortable from the first visit. She definitely went over the call of duty to help me with his care. Thank you Active Home Health for employing such caring people.
Cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care given to my Mom with Active Hospice. Absolutely every aspect of her care was kind, heartfelt and professional. It saved us when we were struggling to care for my Mom as she neared the end. Josh, RN was amazing - his communication skills and medical knowledge was incredible - so very impressive! There are not enough words to express my gratitude for the Active Hospice organization in Sandy. From the very first phone call to the last moment, everyone was prompt, respectful, and compassionate. I called on a Thursday, and we were signed up on Friday with all insurance matters approved, ready to move forward. We started visits on Monday, which included our nurse, social worker, chaplain, and CNA. Medication and medical equipment also came promptly. The care my Dad receives with Active Home Care has been reliable, efficient, and personable. My Dad considers Marina his good friend and has grown to love and appreciate all she does for him throughout the week. We are grateful for the fantastic care given to our beloved Father and recommend Active to anyone needing Hospice care.
