Our daughter has been there for almost a year. She loves going and the staff are very caring. Initially had staff turnover but it seems to have stabilized. Only drawback is lack of transport for outside activities but the staff do the best to keep clients engaged and active.
This is a very interesting place. Not for for most members with severe autism or intellectual disabilities. These are pics of the bathroom and they are never clean. The nurse brings her filthy dog and allow it to eat the members food that's suppose to be served. They are out of compliance and need to be shut down. The staff are not trained on how to handle intellectual disabilities so they will send your family member home because they don't want to deal with them, after accepting their money and IEPs. Wanted to like this place as it was conveniently located close to home. I do not believe this center provides true 1:1 support as it states and I’ve noticed a high turn over rate in staff. I also do not believe they are equipped or truly willing to help individuals with severe autism. The current center director, Theresa Humphreys was not a joy to work with which ultimately led to the decision to have my family member withdrawn from their program.
