Don't rent from Action Property Management I rented a house from this company for 5 years and kept it in good shape and paid my rent on time. Mr Schubert sent me a bill he had paid for cleaning that was insulting. It began with "remove massive cobwebs throughout the house" and went to "oil treat cabinets" - he himself remarked when we did the walk through to rent that the cabinets were in poor shape. I certainly did not deserve to pay for 20 years of neglect. I am very dismayed and disgusted by this man's lack of character. ... read more
Avoid! I would not recommend renting from this management company! Although the properties are well kept, the "manager" was extremely rude on more than one occasion and kept most of our deposit, part of which was put towards edging a sidewalk, and installing new curtain rods that definetly did NOT exist upon moving into the house! I could go on and on but I will leave it at that!
A very rude man My husband and I were looking for rentals in Sequim so I called Walt to see about showing us some homes. When he answered the phone he didn't even say the company's name and he was rude. He said we have to drive by the home and if we see something we like we could call him to show the house. When we got to Sequim we saw a house we liked and called him. My phone lost connection so I called again and he just hung up on me. Great Company Walt Schubert of Action Property Management has managed the rental of a house I own in Sequim for the past two years. He has done the most excellent job that I could ask for. Walt goes out of his way to make sure that he gets good solid renters that will also take care of the property. I would not hesitate to recomment Action Property Management to anyone that either has a home to rent, or is looking for a home to rent. Don Bloom
Action was great I recently moved to Sequim from another state Action Property Management and Walt Schubert helped me find a new place. Contrary to the other comments, I feel compelled to write that my experience with Action was great. Walt was courteous and helpful in my search for a new place. Each home was clean and ready for occupancy. I would highly recommend Action Property Management in Sequim.
Don't Rent From Here. Action Property Management is owned by Walt Shubert, former mayor, and a piece of human garbage. My parents rented from him at one point when he was working there. when we moved out, my nana (R.I.P) helped us clean the place. When he came by to inspect, he verbally bashed her and made her cry because she did a "poor" cleaning job. I unfortunately wasn't old enough to knock his teeth out but i still remember. My grandma was a saint. I wouldn't recommend anyone give that piece of crap any business.
DON'T RENT THROUGH ACTION PROPERTY MANAGEMENT/ WALT SCHUBERT My girlfriend and I were looking for a rental home in the Sequim area. I was laid off from work in Poulsbo, and got a job in Port Angeles. We found a house near Sequim, and met with WALT SCHUBERT (Owner/operator of Action Property Management/con artist) and were accepted to rent the home. Walt is a cheat and rude! I had heard about Schuberts slums but I didn't take the warning seriously. Walt is a theif! He kept my entire deposit and then had the balls to charge me extra. I had a small army of friends help me clean when I moved and then he sent in his cleaning team to clean again! The people who helped me were appalled at his rudeness and his double charging for cleaning. He's a nasty little man and obviously does this to other renters. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS CLOWN!
