This place is an absolute disgrace. After calling ahead of time and describing my problem of the fuel pump not getting any power I was told to bring my boat in. First I was greeted very rudely and told to stay in my car. Second the only things they did was complain about the work and say they "couldn't make enough money to work on it." I have been using these guys for a few years, always been great service. I live in New Braunfels, and thought I would try local guy instead of dragging boat to Austin, didn’t work out was about to buy new outboard motor because guy said it was computer problem. I have a 98 JOHNSON FICHT, just replace the I in ficht with a U. I picked it up took it to Action Marine for second opinion and possibly to Repower. The techs at Action Marine are very skilled. They were able to get our 496 Mercruiser running like new! They are very honest and were very straight about costs and time. When we picked the boat up, the owner was there to help us get on the road safely - even helping us get the trailer lights squared away. We recommend Action Marine highly!
Great guys to deal with it. Let me upgrade props before purchase...made and ordered custom parts and had them shipped to me, to save me from having to make another trip. Parts department had visually looked at a cable i needed , and sounded so confidant like he's the best, then turns out new part was way to short , had to make numerous long distance trips , and management kept complaining about 20$ dollars to have the new part FedEx to me, "oh so you rather have a paying customer keep driving back and forth for a mistake that wasn't even mine. pendejos
