For the past 5 years - they call to do a 6 mo. check up and EVERY SINGLE time - it’s always something and always a $300- $500 charge ! Very unscrupulous ! Not transparent - on their invoices - they never state the price, for parts costs or labor … stay away from this company !
Great experience with management and scheduling systems and also with Matt who came to my townhouse and handled my issue. Matt was early, polite and efficient. Hooked me up with a new filter and got me all cleaned up. Gave me his recommendations on what I should get fixed but did not push anything on me as it was just not in the budget this month. August 2023 while on vacation a/c quit working had a service contract with Action Matt came out and installed new capacitor.Next service appointment April 2024 I looked at A/c fan and observed the capacitor in the cardboard box it was shipped in duct taped to side of fan.Contacted Action and they stated that was the way they attach an odd size capacitor.Bought the right size capacitor and installed in original bracket.And they charged me 280.00 for a 20.00 capacitor.
I do not recommend this company any longer... They did a decent job installing my air conditioner at my vacation rental a year ago , but when there was a problem with water leaking from the pan 2 weeks ago their tech Stephen claimed that we needed to repair the "line set" for $3300... which I reluctantly agreed to initially... he wanted me to sign the paperwork and said ordered all the parts , but I had a strong gut feeling not to move forward after doing my own research online, when I told him, I did not feel comfortable an... read more
