RecommendedI love Acredale Animal Hospital. I've been a client for over 20 years. I've had many emergencies with my pets over the years and found the 24 hour service so worth the extra money. The staff is very friendly even during very busy times. I appreciate the hard work that the staff at Acredale has done during this Covid pandemic. Even though the protocal has had to change, they have manage to meet all of my pets' needs during this time. Keep up the great work! We will be clients for life!
I have always had a great experience with Acerdale, even with Covid. Just recently they quickly saw my sick dog, and Dr Edwards had no problem spending as much time as needed explaining everything she could on the phone. The patience and compassion given when the time came to make the best decision for our girl was amazing. Thank you for all y’all did.
I get the COVID thing but this is the worst we have ever been treated at any vet. Dropped off our dog yesterday at 9:30 am came back at 3:00 pm and was told that there was only one patient ahead of us. Didn’t get out of there until after 7:00 pm. They said that they did an exam and an x-ray and said they didn’t see anything wrong. Gave the dog some medicine for nausea. I brought my dog in and he was pretty bad and Dr Giles was amazing. She deserves a huge thank you. She took care of me as much as my dog. She explained things in detail to me. All facts no fluff which is exactly what I need. Just cannot say enough. The staff was wonderful. A really great caring crew. THANK YOU!

I used to think acredale was one of the best vets in Chesapeake, but after recently having pet emergencies my opinion is completely opposite. First, I understand we are in a pandemic and the rules are changing, I have no problem with that. One day I came home from work early and noticed my cat couldn’t walk, it seems like he dislocated his hip. The first visit was fine. Our regular hours are Monday through Thursday from 8am to 8pm, and Friday and Saturday from 8am to 5pm. Any visits outside of those hours have after hour fees associated with them. At 8am, other patients are arriving for surgery drop-offs, grooming appointment drop-offs, and regularly scheduled doctor appointments.
took my 15 year old Hemingway for a urinary/ bladder issue yesterday. can happily say I've found a new vet. service was outstanding, extremely reasonable in price and the staff was very knowledgeable. would highly recommend
Horrible service will never come back to them. we sat in there parking lot from 930am to 1209pm from a walk in at 930 got told there was 3 ahead of us and it would be a 1 hr wait. with 2 walk in doctor's working. at 11:07 I called again and was told one person was ahead of us and we would be up next. 12:07 role's around and we are still waiting.
