Dr. Buchanan did play therapy with my daughter over the course of several months. My daughter loved it and was always excited to see her. Dr. Buchanan is very knowledgeable and sympathetic. She always treated both me and my daughter with care and respect. We only stopped seeing her because we moved. This review is 4 stars instead of 5 because my daughter’s new provider never received her records that were requested. Would definitely recommend Dr. Buchanan.

Mrs. Buchanon at Acorn n Bones Counseling was a God send. Before seeking counseling from Mrs. Buchanon my life was in shambles due to recently being divorced and dealing with years of life hurts from childhood to adulthood. Through a combination of professional counseling and Christian bible based reflections and prayer I received a whole new outlook on life and a personal healing. I would highly recommend Acorns n Bones Counseling to anyone seeking a better way of life and true happiness. Frank Barron IV

I would not recommend this place. She is not friendly. She opened the door as if I was a criminal. How can you expect clients to open up to you when you act as if you are above them? She didn't introduce herself to me or anything without me first asking. I felt very uncomfortable. She claims she is a Christian. Instead of her trying to find a solution, she brushed it off like she was right. Never again. She will lose alot of good people with her rude and nasty behavior.
