First time going to this barber shop, overall my experience was very good. Barber Rompe gave me an amazing haircut. Pricing is great considering since it's located in downtown Victoria. Will be coming back again.

I came in asking for a simple trim, just the ends, and a slight reduction in volume. Unfortunately, the stylist completely misunderstood my request. Ten minutes later, I looked in the mirror to find almost a buzz cut instead of the light touch-up I had requested. While I’m thankful hair grows back, this experience was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this salon for anyone looking for minor adjustments. On the bright side, the price was reasonable, and the location and ambiance of the place were great

arrived for my 2:15pm appointment at 2:05. There was a sticky note on the door that said "back in 10 minutes," so I waited by the front. Another customer arrived, apparently missed the note, and walked in. The barber began cutting his hair. I went inside at 2:10, and when I mentioned my appointment, the barber glanced at his phone and just said "okay." It's now 2:40, and he still hadn’t acknowledged me so I just left and am writing this review. I understand that this is a new business, but the service has been disappointing.... read more
