The food was delicious but the service was subpar. I was one of a group of 12 who didn't arrive at the same time. I asked for a cup of ice because the iced tea had very little ice in it and it was pretty warm. I never got the ice that I requested and one of my friends who arrived waaaay after asked for a cup of ice and gave me half of hers. When someone finally came around to refill the drinks I told her I had sweet tea, she filled all of the unsweetened tea at the table and never returned to refill mine. We are from Chicago, first time at Acme Oyster House and absolutely loved it. The service was excellent and the food was to die for. Loved it so much I bought a T shirt lol .
1/10/18 Ate there with my family. All food served was very good. I had the half fried shrimp and fried catfish. It was excellent. The poboys were good too. The wait staff was excellent. I am in a wheelchair. One of the staff waited by the door to let people know I was in the bathroom to give me privacy while in the bathroom.

Best oyster and oyster poboy I’ve had in many years!
I ordered food to go. Red beans and wings, and they were awful. No meat came with the beans, and they had zero flavor. The bread was tough and dry. The wings were room temperature. The customer service was great. I will just eat at the one inside of Harrah's in NOLA. Their tasty beans come with fresh bread, sausage, and flavor. Their wings are hot and delicious.
