Sometime before July 2, 2025, our storage unit at Acme Mini Storage was one of several broken into with items being stolen. The problem wasn’t the lock, which remains intact, but the poorly-designed door latch of the unit itself. We were notified of the incident in a phone call, but that was the end of Acme’s involvement. They refused to contact the police about the burglary. They refused to file a police report. And they dealt with the matter with almost silent indifference. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME TO THIS FACILITY! IT CONSTANTLY KEEPS ON GETTING BROKEN IN TO WITH NO REGARDS TO CALLING LAW ENFORCEMENT ON YOUR BEHALF . 5 UNITS GOTTEN BROKEN INTO THE SAME DAY AND KEEPS ON GETTING BROKEN INTO . LAW ENFORCEMENT SAID THEY CANNOT STAND THIS FACILITY WITH ALL THE BREAK IN'S. POLICE OFFICER ASKED TO SEE FOOTAGE OF THE BREAK IN .BECAUSE THATS WAS REQUESTED FROM ASAIN MAN WHO WORKS THERE . If I can give 0 stars I would this place is infested with rats my grandma who is 94 years old single old woman had her items here and she had to throw away all her belongings that she cherished memories of her life of her husband who isn’t here anymore everything ended in the trash today because it was full of rat feces and pee. All her jewelry that she had trying to pass down as legacy was stolen the whole unit was stolen and trashed and i honestly think it’s the workers.
