If you are a seasoned cnc machinist 5 years of set-up or more ask what your machines average billable hours are then multiply that by .3 That will give you about what you should be making hourly .. if they say less then 100 an hour for billable hours that is pretty low find a better shop. Some machines (5axis) are 200an hour plus. 200x.25 is 50.. 50 bucks an hour minimum to run a machine like that. And the company will still make 2x as much as you. As a ex employee, working here was good. Liked my coworker and my boss. The reason I give two stars because of their HR guy that I am not going to name. He is very unprofessional and very rude man. He always mess up my paycheck when I missed work even when I put my PTO in. He will walk around during work hours and vape round the office as if that was okay. He will always lie to you and make you feel uncomfortable.
