I may have speed walked to the shelf and snatched the last Acme bread loaf today. I felt sort of shameful until I held that bread to my nose and breathed in the yum. No shame now!
This bread is amazing, it is obvious how much love goes into every loaf. I do something special with each variety. Sliced sourdough toasted with real butter is our go to. But a quick delish dinner is always sauteed veggies with melted cheese on an Acme baguette or we slice a focaccia in half add pizza sauce, cheese and toppings! YUM Sliced granny smith apples sauteed with sweet onions topped with a slice of melted brie is the only way we eat our toasted Acme Rye!
All I can say..... Acme Bread is the best that Boise has ever seen. I have planned - catered - caked events since 1986 in Boise. I even can make my own bread products.. BUT WHY when Acme Bread creates incredible bread!!!! PS Michael & staff are also very kind.
Bought a baguette tonight it was wonderful. I am so happy almost gave up with finding good bread in Idaho.
Best bread in Boise. Hands down.
The King of Crust has incredible skills and respects his ingredients. Mouthwatering variety of traditional styles and innovation. He is a master.
