Tucked into thebrownstoneloft landscape of the NoHo district, Acme is turning heads and drawing nearby upper-class locals in with Scandinavian cuisine- locavore style. Relying on locally sourced ingredients, Chef Mads Refslund, co-founder of equally fashionable Indochine, puts together obsessivelyseasonal menus that showcase the best of areas surrounding New York City with dishes grouped into categories such as raw, cooked, soil and sea. Simple dishes such as local oysters and arctic char seem to be the real crowd-pleasers h... read more

Great Food and Cocktails – Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and home fries. The steak is off the chart , this dish could stand up to most chiefs and establishments. Great tunes on the jukebox of famous BE artists. This is an authentic BE place in the big city !
Did I ask for my food to go? – I wasn't looking for linen tablecloths, fine china and crystal but I think if you order a po boy it should come dressed and not served on top of a wet tomato so the sandwich is soggy with two sealed plastic containers of sauces(takeout style.) The sweet potato fries were not fries but roasted wedges of sweet potato. The oysters and shrimp were cooked well but everything else was wrong. Disappointed
Acme Bar and Grill Very good cajun/southern food. Nice decor and friendly service. Delicious cornbread comes on the table. A little overpriced, though, so be prepared.
Best weekend brunch – I always go here, but only for their weekend brunches. It's $10.95 and you get a whole lotta food. I know it' s not authentic southern, cajun. Thier po boys are too small and not messy enough to be the real deal. But it's good food anyways. Their fried catfish and eggs rancheros are the best.
Worst Delivery Ever... – Called them at 5:20 for a delivery. At 6:30 called again and was told it was "on the way". 7:30 now and the food still hasn't arrived. Unacceptable for Manhattan.
this place it terrible, avoid it! – i just had dinner here tonight. The food was terrible. the service terrible. The meatloaf was served cold. Dennys is better than this place. By far. So, i went to take a look at the past 15 reviews giving this place 5 stars, and sure enough... i checked the number of reviews that these people had on here. Only one. One review. That looks suspicious to me. Looks like the owner is desperate. The food and service were terrible, and honestly, i feel sick from eating the food.
ACME is really fun!! Very relaxed...excellent burgers...cute waiters!! – This is the place to go for casual hanging out...after work...a place to kick off your shoes , enjoy the atmosphere and eat some really good food that doesn't cost a lot!!
ACME?s Finger Lickin? Good! – This place is my absolute favorite restaurant in NYC! From the mouthwatering Maryland crab cakes to the scrumptious catfish fingers, I just can?t get enough! My absolute favorite is ACME?s award winning famous mashed potatoes with the white yummy gravy?DELICIOUS!
Just like mother used to make – As a southerner, it's always hard for me to find good comfort food in the city. Acme hits the nail on the head. Start off with some jambalaya before moving on to mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatos. The po' boys are authentic and delicious as well. Sip it all down with Abita.
ACME has a 3.5 star rating with 591 reviews.
ACME is closed now. It will open on Thursday at 10:00 p.m.
