I purchased gutters manufactured by American Construction Metals (ACM). They came with a written warranty which promised the gutters would not "split or crack" due to cold weather. After the second winter that is exactly what happened. The gutters were bent, twisted and cracked, by exposure to simple ice and snow. When I made a claim under the warranty to the Beloit, Wisconsin location of ACM the company refused to do anything. They claimed the gutters were damaged by an "act of God."
