I brought 2 rings in Achenbachs to be repaired at the end of this past week. My engagement ring and a diamond Mother's Day ring. Rings that both mean a lot to me! I slammed my hand in a door and both rings has to be cut off due to swelling. I was devastated. I dropped them off around 5:30 on Thursday and they were ready to be picked up at Noon on Friday. They did an INCREDIBLE job repairing and cleaning them! Even Rhodium dipped them! They look brand new! Judy was also wonderful to work with! Very impressed! �
My husband bought my engagement ring here...still two yrs later they tell him they don't have a ring he left for them to give a price for...hes been in repeatedly and they said at first she had to find it...now he never left it...what a rip off..basically stole his ring...we will be going to small claims because he was with our friend when he bought my engagement ring...i would never recommend this place to anyone...
Absolutely horrible experience. They not only lack jewelry knowedge, they also lack customer service and the slightest sense of ethics
We brought in a ring to be sized down a size. We were told it would take up to a week. A week goes by, it was still not done. They said it would be taken care of after the weekend, weekend went by it was still not done. We were then told it would be done in another week. Another week went by it was yet again not done. We were then told it would be done that afternoon to be picked up the next day. Went to pick it up the next day when we were told it was done. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service, they ripped off my grandfather then when he tried to get a bigger size and add to his ring the owner told him that the ring he brought in was "a fake, hollow ring" although he had the receipt and continuously insulted us
