Do not pay upfront for anything and do not give her any gemstones. We’ve never seen the ring she was supposed to design. We were so patient and understanding with her months of excuses. Life happens, but after a year of not being able to complete the agreed upon project, it’s time to give the gemstone back and give us a refund.
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. I had a confirmed appointment with the jeweler, but they were a complete no-show. This was supposed to be a special surprise for my mom’s birthday—I had the whole afternoon planned—and it ended up being a huge letdown. 0/5. Wrong address on this google listing. Called multiple times, no answer but texted me? Phone number says walk in only. Person via text says need appointment. Finally got an “appointment” via text and waited outside for 10 minutes with no answer of the door.
Paid 400 bucks for three pieces of jewelry and she took 3 months to just chuck the commission and keep the money, and that doesn't include the plethora of other commissions she is taking money for and not even so much as thinking about working on. This jeweler claims to be an artist but at the end of the day, the studio is just a bog of spray painted cotton, dirty stools, vastly marked up metals from WalMart, and every indication that this is a poorly run business by a lazy, privileged proprietor. Caroline is a joke. Canceled last minute, showed up late, locked us out in freezing weather, and wasted four hours doing absolutely nothing. Overcharged me for a necklace that broke in less than a month. No apology, no refund, no accountability. This place is a mess. Save your money and your sanity—DO NOT BOOK.
