The doctors here are very kind and try to help. (Struggles for a long time trying to get adhd meds covered) The office staff are terrible though. Getting information confused, never ever answering the phone, leaving messages about a referral and when I call back, they can't figure out what it was for... All 3 of our kids went to Dr. Acevedo growing up and for many years we thought highly of this practice and all the other doctors there. I’m not sure what happened in the past few years, but the callbacks suddenly stopped and it’s become impossible to get them on the phone. There’s nothing worse than needing your kid’s doctor for something and not being able to get their office to return phone calls or answer appointment requests. My kids have been going there since my daughter was born and she is 13. I loved it up until recently. We have insurance and my kids only go for their yearly checkups because they rarely get sick, but we get a bill for every appointment and our insurance company tells us that no one from the office never filed.
