Specialties The late Robert D. (Bob) Beitzel purchased Ace Welding in 1955, a small welding shop on 8th Street in downtown Zanesville, Ohio. In 1962 after out growing the existing facilities, land was purchased and the name was changed to Ace Truck Equipment.A new facility was constructed at its current location, 1130 Newark Road. In the years to follow, the building was enlarged multiple times to keep up with the demands of the business, and features over 25,000 square feet of service area.
