Had a great experience renting from ace, very attentive staff, special shoutout to Priya and Arthur!
Very much like most of the other popular care rental companies. Car pick up and drop off is offsite and office hours are daytime only. Shuttle bus is clean and relatively convenient.
Booked via Klook with enhanced insurance for full coverage. Hence, when I picked up the car, I didn’t experience any “sales tactics” or the like. Landed at noon on a Saturday, they were very kind to pick us up at the airport, even though they were less than 1 hour away from closing time. There are no hidden charges. Car is in great condition with only 10,000 km driven on it. My only regret is that I booked a Camry, but got a K4, which is more Corolla-equivalent. Hence, the 4 star review.
UPDATE: ookal wordt ik hieronder vriendelijk verzocht om contact op te nemen met ACE via het mailadres....Nu een week later nog altijd geen antwoord mogen ontvangen. Kansloos dit....... Communicatie is waardeloos. Online portal kregen we pas na huurperiode toegang toe. Vriendelijkheid bij de balie is ver te zoeken, liever kwijt dan rijk. Er worden random bedragen van je creditcard afgeschreven na afloop van de huurperiode. Geen idee waarvoor aangezien je geen facturen ontvangt. Reageren op de mail doen ze ook niet. SCAM ALERT! They claim to be an "airport branch"...but a) are not and b) close at noon on weekends and c) do not have any way to drop off after hours. So you need to return a day early with no refund....while they re-rent the car.
