I had an obscure mechanical gremlin in the wiring of my car. My usual mechanic (who does good work) tried for two weeks to find the issue before admitting defeat. He was kind enough to recommend two places, Ace Auto Electric (AAE) and one other place. I tried the other place first and was told they had no interest in working on a 40 year old car. Talked with parts counter to find a starter. No dice., but really helpful. If I can't find something at my vendors. They always recommend Ace for that not so common part.
They are not cheap, they are not especially friendly. But, they solve problems quickly and efficiently. My go-to place for any auto electrical.
