I purchased an arcade machine for $3,300 back in $2015. The machine stopped working in $2018 and the owner recommended I purchase a system upgrade to fix the issue. I purchased the upgrade in January 2019 for $375, which was supposed to take six weeks to deliver. I was extremely patient with them, waited a few months. Kept leaving emails and calls/voicemails with no response ever. Then covid hit . I kept calling and emailing maybe once every 9 months since then. It is now July 2023, the expensive arcade machine does ... read more

Will ask you to pay up front and then ignore you. Look at their BBB profile. Ace Amusement and its owner R. Steve McCollum have ripped off several people. There is no telling how many people he has ripped off that didn't take the time to report him to BBB. Shameful and dishonest.

I own an Ace Amusements Multicade system. After working intermittently for several years the machine stopped working entirely. I was told by (Steve McCollum) the machine required an upgraded solid state hard drive for $495. Payable only through check, money order or zelle. They don't take credit cards - ask yourself why? Because as a consumer you have more power to dispute a less than optimal transaction. Ace amusements cashed my check in august of 2021 and hasn't responded to any emails, texts or phone calls. This is ... read more

I paid over 3,500 for an arcade game. Paid deposit in May 2019 and shipping and final deposit in Dec 2019. I filed suit against him and am taking him to court.

I have been waiting for 11.5 months for my arcade. I paid him $3,050 for a bunch of excuses. Reporting him to BBB, Texas Attorney General and filing suite tomorrow

Taking him to small claims court over a non-delivered system that I already paid a LOT of money for as a 15th b-day gift for my son. Shameful company and owner.

I ordered a custom multicade unit from Ace. This is a very laid back company and the owner can be less responsive than you would expect but when push came to shove they delivered. They missed the original estimated delivery date by a month but that was fine by me. I was more concerned that I was delivered a functional custom unit to my liking. It definitely has met my expectations. I would recommend Ace but with a caveat. You need to trust that they will deliver and have patience with their communication style. For me, they ... read more
