I requested an inspection of an older home in February 2022. The inspector came out and did claimed he was not able to access the attic (the access to the attic). Additionally, the inspector noted that there was a potential issue with a missing plumbing cap and clog and that a professional assess and fix. Fast forward to June when I go to remodel, several plumbers have looked at the plumbing and told me it was shot and they are shocked that any home inspector wouldn't have recommended the plumbing be replaced.
