He is thorough and takes time to answer all your questions and concerns. When calling to ask about a problem his office gets back to you in a timely fashion. He will fit you in when you call with an urgency to be seen.
Dr Herndon takes the time to listen to you to determine the best course of action is. Explains everything in plain English so you understand everything.
Too busy to see me when I injured my back, so he provided some "exercises" via a print out left at the front desk. Good thing I had other options and was able to get "real" attention from another doctor.
The wife and I have been going to Dr Herndon since he first started practice in Port Richey, FL. He takes his time, answers all our questions, and is very thorough in his examinations. The entire office staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Doesn't even deserve the one star I was forced to give him. He is arrogant rude and thinks he knows everything I am chronically ill and medically complex. Without any knowledge of my condition he has cut medications putting me in the hospital and pulled my care off on any nurse practitioner he can. Wouldn't even give me orders for my yearly Medicare preventive services! Everything faxed to him is never received... Get the picture?
DON’T GO SEE THIS DOC IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR TRUTH AND GOOD ADVICE!! Since 2007 I’ve been through 4 back surgeries. Been on Fentanyl, Morphine and Oxy just to name a few. All to control pain and give me quality of life. I lived in bed 90% of the time anyway. I was still in pain. MY new PC Doc helped me get off the opiates! He was right about all of it. I’m actually feeling better and can handle my pain so much better! I can think clearly! Thank you!

Amazing Doctor I've ever known.
Very knowledgeable, thorough, personable, attentive and always a good listener. He will advise explain and if necessary refer you to a specialist. In case you are sick or need medical attention however, and do not have a scheduled appointment Dr. Herndon will adjust his schedule an be sure to see you. I am very confident and lucky to have him for my Primary Care Physician. An asset to Access Health Care and I highly recommend him.
