I had a very disappointing experience with this office. My appointments were repeatedly changed, making it difficult to receive consistent care. When I told them the medication they prescribed was making me pass out, I felt like my concerns were completely dismissed instead of being taken seriously. Rather than trying to help or evaluate what was happening, I was told to either go to the ER or find a new doctor. I was a former patient at Cox Med One and transferred care to Access Family Care due to it having a more convenient location. The staff is wonderful, especially Melinda. She actually listens to my concerns, and even helped me get a test done and covered by insurance that I was pushing to have done by my previous provider.

Very Slow. The Nurse Practitioner won’t get you anywhere. I went in for labored breathing and Susan the Regustered Nurse told me to inhale very deep a few more times because if my O2 is too low she’d have to do the paper work and she didn’t want to do the paperwork because it was on a Friday and then tried backtrack out of what she said. I left and went to the ER. Don’t waste your time. The receptionist was good!

Angela is amazing with my kids since day one. My oldest has had traumatic experiences with some nurses (in Arkansas) that created fear of Doctors, Angela took the time to make him feel comfortable and interacted with him explaining what she was going to do. She also helps me by dumbing down her examination.
