MY MOM JUST PASSED 11/13/2025. WE KNEW THAT THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO, SO WE AGREED TO HOSPICE. WE DID NOT WANT HER TO SUFFER ANYMORE. THE STAFF AT ACCENTCARE WAS AMAZING AND THE WHOLE HOSPICE EXPERIENCE WAS MORE THAN WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR. THE GUITAR PLAYER PLAYED AN ELVIS SONG, AT MY REQUEST. HE ALSO PLAYED AMAZING GRACE AND SOME OTHER VERY SWEET SONGS FOR MY MOM. I ALSO SHARED WITH ONE OF THE STAFF THAT EVERY THURSDAY, MY SIBLINGS AND MY MOTHER WOULD GET TOGETHER AND PLAY CARDS. I really hate to leave a bad review but hopefully this helps other families. Accent was recommended by a good friend due to the care her loved one received. The admission process was very smooth. Once admitted I have to say the care was sub par. Frustration began with the nursing staff. Different nurse each visit, same requests made each time. My sister passed away Friday September 20th 2024. I am sure if we had not been there no one would have noticed she passed until shift change. I wish I could remember the name of her nurse on the day my sister died because she was bizarre and unhelpful. The rest of so called staff including the doctor all sat around the nurse's stations playing on their phone. This place was all about the money and they could care less about the patients. My Mother spent less than one week here. They took great care of my Mom. There was a little bit of miscommunication but that was only with two individuals. Overall the care was exceptional and we were always treated with respect. When my Mom passed, they made sure she was treated with dignity and respect while we waited for the funeral home to respond. Thank you especially to CherylAnn and Lisa, they were amazing nurses.
