Accent Care Home Health Services is truly an unsung agency in Decatur Georgia. I have enjoyed their Home Heath Services for over 5 years. Their professionalism, knowledge and caring is five Stars!!
No communication between staff members about when they were to show up. Received expensive medical supplies that were not suited to my condition. Received dressing for drain site 3 days after drain removed. These people have no clue
My mom was referred to this service. They were disorganized at best. During a time I was working less hours her therapist was able to come all but one week they were meant to. It was a positive experience for her. She was meant to have a second round of physical therapy and occupational therapy. On just one day the physical therapist and occupational therapist came to my home without scheduling. After this, my schedule reduced to having availability from 8-9:30 a.m.. But recently I experienced home health from the other side when my mom needed care. Everything went really smoothly especially considering that we have a massive nursing shortage in the US right now. My wife was referred for wound care and therapy to this firm. The wound care was prescribed every other day. The wound care was scheduled for Wednesday. The afternoon before I received a call saying ...sorry...some staff " called out and because of the holiday weekend" we can't change the wound. " The Supervisor called and said they would try to find someone to assist my wife. They called back and recommended a different home health care.
