It's an old hotel with need for renovation. We were not disappointed as I had read reviews before booking and was aware of its conditions. The pool has mold and the carpet and sheets are stained. However, we liked staying here for the family friendly environment, quiet rooms, simple but nice breakfast, friendly staff and awesome location.
My wife gave the place two stars because it is oceanfront. I'm not that generous. Room literally falling apart. Quite possibly the saddest hotel bar ever, and I've been drunk in Tijuana. Had two working lights in the room and one of those was in the bathroom. Stains on the carpet, chairs, walls. The place should be gutted.
Our ocean front view was great. Front desk employees were friendly . Continental breakfast was great and the lady that took care of the breakfast was super nice.
