Acadia is committed to treating its customers with respect and to provide proper notice of any underwriting decision that affects coverage, both directly and by working with the customer’s insurance agent to explain why coverage can or cannot be provided to a business. We recommend customers work with their independent agent who can help them find the best markets to protect their business exposures. If a policyholder wishes to dispute such a decision they can do so by contacting the Maine department of insurance.
Their insured damaged the tires on my car. I provided them proof - even their adjuster heard the tire noise and they still denied the claim. Claims rep saw a pic of my tires and said they look okay...he is so smart...he can hear tire noise from a picture = laughable. Then he says, if there was an issue other people would have had similar claims. Lies and more lies. As someone else said...stay clear of this company. File complaints with your state Insurance Division. Do not let big insurance companies like this one take advan... read more

Use Caution if thinking of using this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trying to get my windshield fix from a rock falling off of a truck next to me that they insure. This is part of my last email with them... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. Really Pxxl? I just tried calling you and your out again. This claim will need to stay open until we get paid for the windshield that was damaged by a truck that you insure. “You’ll give me to the end of the week to get more evidence” funny you say that, when I have had to be on you like crazy!
