They changed the check out lines. It goes all around the store, blocks other shoppers from getting to merchandise. A little pregnant lady with a toddler had to wait in line 45 minutes to check out. Who every came up with idea needs to be fired.
I’ve worked for Academy before in the houston area and to go to the Midland store it’s embarrassing the lack of customer service they have.
Recommendedgreat prices on fishing supplies. always have some nice to and reels on sale. knowledgeable and helpful associates in the gun department too. not a huge selection but a nice selection of popular and quality handguns.

Congratulations! In my 46 years I have never felt the need to give a review for anything. However after just leaving your store, that I frequent several times a month I might add, I will never spend another dime there. (and I've spent quite a few) You people have absolutely no concept of what customer service is. It's not a very good idea to try to make people look stupid just because your employees can't do their jobs efficiently. Keep in mind, these are people you are trying to get money out of.
