Wanted to exchange a defective head flashlight I got back in Aug 28th that cost 6.99 at the Edinburg TX location. They gave some BS about not being able to because it wasn't "resellable". "company policy" they said, "it's on the receipt". so I read the policy and it says it can be exchanged or returned for merchandise credit for the lowest price on the item in the last 90days. Went to academy to buy some bullets. There is a three box limit. I have no problem with the limit as there is a shortage. As I was grabbing the three boxes, an employee in the gun department came by and made a snarky remark stating that I should save some for everyone else, and only buy two boxes. Never met so many uneducated illiterate employees in one place. I entertain the idea that the company itself employs shady tactics and lies to fool its customers. But the employees are still uneducated and have no interest in helping the customers.

Your store sucks! I called 5 times! You’re literally the only sporting goods store in the state that can’t answer the phone and answer a simple question. The one female that answered the phone transferred me to the dept I was inquiring about and nobody answered. I tried 3 different depts and then some... this is why consumers shop online, because customer care sucks.
